Born in Brazil, Rafaela’s international career spans the world’s most prestigious stages and studios, captivating audiences from Russia to Kazakhstan. She began professionally with the Young Company of the Bolshoi School in Brazil, then joined the Mariinsky Theater’s Primorsky Stage in Russia as a corps dancer, transitioning in 2017 to the Ural Opera and Ballet where she was promoted to Soloist in 2019 for her exceptional poise in principal roles. From 2022–2023, she served as Soloist with Kazakhstan’s Astana Ballet. In 2025, Rafaela joined Brisbane Ballet for its triple bill Aquila at Brisbane Powerhouse.
