Shanti Barlow
Born on the Gold Coast, Australia, Shanti began dancing at the age of three. At fifteen, she was accepted into the Queensland Ballet Academy, where she completed her pre-professional training before joining Queensland Ballet as a Young Artist. During this time, Shanti gained valuable professional experience and went on to perform internationally, dancing with English National Ballet in Derek Deane’s ‘Swan Lake in the Round’.
She later joined The Royal Danish Ballet, where she appeared in a wide range of productions including Études, The Sleeping Beauty, The Great Gatsby, Don Quixote, and The Nutcracker, working with renowned choreographers such as Christopher Wheeldon, Akram Khan and Nikolaj Hubbe.
Now excited to be back in Australia, Shanti looks forward to the next chapter of her artistic journey, continuing to share her passion for classical ballet with audiences at home
